This
two day programme aims to introduce participants to the fundamental principles
of training. It applies equally well to both technical and soft skills
training. Day one will focus on planning, structure and developing presentation
skills and can be completed as a standalone Presentation Skills Course. Day two
will explore how to develop training materials and deliver interactive
sessions.

2 : Learning and Engaging an Audience
How do we learn? Why do people Learn? What are the
main barriers to learning? Learning styles. Includes group discussion and
questionnaire.

3 : The Shape and Structure of a Successful Presentation/Training Event - The
Planning and Design Model.
A structured approach for planning a presentation
or session includes : Initial Thinking ; Filtering ; Sequencing and Scheduling
; Support Materials.

4 : Delivery. Techniques for successful delivery.

1 : Giving Feedback.

2 : Practical. Each participant delivers a 15 minute training session.
