Stephanie Bass, Managing Director of Channel Islands Training & Development (C.I.T.D) has considerable experience in the field of training and development and specialises in identifying and understanding the needs of businesses to provide the best possible training solution.
Stephanie was educated in the UK, gaining a Business Economics degree from the University of Southampton before attaining the Chartered Institute of Marketing Postgraduate Diploma whilst studying towards an MA in Glasgow.
After sales/marketing and management roles with both Jersey Tourism and Channel Television Stephanie set up her own marketing consultancy where she worked closely with a variety of clients including Highlands College, Jersey's major establishment for further education. This experience showed her the importance of life long learning and self improvement and also provided an indepth insight into the Channel Island training market.
In 2001,Stephanie set up Channel Islands Training & Development- a company with a difference. The open and inhouse courses and seminars that are offered provide quality from beginning to end, the customer service is second to none and the tutors and speakers outstanding specialists in their fields. The company now works globally with over 150 corporate clients across a wide range of industry sectors providing inhouse tailored training solutions.
As a direct result of C.I.T.D.'s success, Stephanie was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" at the Jersey Awards for Enterprise in February 2003. In November 2009 she became the youngest Fellow of the CIM in the Channel Islands and one of the ten youngest female Fellows worldwide.
Stephanie has been the resident "career counsellor" for the Channel Island Publication "Enterprise" and currently writes for the magazine "Jersey Weekly". She has had many other articles published in various publications. Stephanie is also an accomplished voiceover artist for training products.
